RE: Power Commander USB III Fuel Mileage
My 07 Ultra was bumped to a 103 with the cam and catalectic mufflers (all from Harley) and I'm getting just under 40 MPG on the highway at 65 MPH, when I ride at 70+ it drops off a couple on mpg.

RE: Oil Temperature Gauge
Hey rapid Robert
I took the (useless) air temp out of the fairing and put an oil temp gauge in its place. The gauge measures the oil temp on the cold side of the oil filter, unless you have an oil cooler and then it depends on which oil line you put the sensor, So you can get the temp before or after the oil cooler....

I have the answer...
(2) 2 1/2 bolts for the voltage regulator, (2) 1 1/8 inch spacers and everything bolted together. I did have to shave off a little on the bottom plate that bolts on to of the oil cooler. The down tubs made it not fit into place. It works fine!!!

07 Ultra w/Oil Cooler Question
I have a 07 Ultra with the front Display Stand (which I love) and I want to add the HD oil cooler to help with the heat. Harley says the two do not go together, but I heard of it being done.
Does anyone know how?

Oil Temperature Gauge
I have a 2007 Ultra with the oil temperature gauge in the fairing.
I am thinking about relocating the sensor to the oil tank itself.
Some of the reading I’ve done says to put the sensor in the second
drain plug in the pan, but the service book say that is the pipe plug
and my local dealer said it is factory installed and should not be
removed.
Any suggestions as to where I can relocate the sensor?

If money is not an object, then get the H-D air horn. But money was an object for me, so I went with different brand that only cost $30 and has 119 decibals... sounds like a 18 wheeler. I love it...

2007 Ultra and Heat Issues
My 2007 Ultra which was bumped to a 103 ran very hot last year and I'm thinking about trying to do something to help with that situation.
Cams, air filter and mufflers can with the 103 kit. I also have the oil temp gage in the faring and it was reading almost 300 degrees, which they tell me is measured on the cold side of the oil filter.
So I'm trying to see what will give me the most for the bucks, a fuel management system, so the engine is not running so lean or and oil cooler. The bike is currently getting about 40MPG and I do not want to kill that. It also has 10,000 miles on it.
Any thoughts?
